What Is a Notary Stamp?
A notary stamp is used by a certified notary to authenticate the notary’s signature and make a notarized document official. Notary stamps are often rubber stamps with a built-in ink pad, allowing for quick repeat stamping, which is often needed for a busy notary public. To order a notary stamp, simply provide a copy of a valid notary certificate from your state when purchasing in-person or upload a copy online. Be sure to select the correct state when customizing the notary public stamp. If your state is not available, a different stamp will need to be selected that adheres to your states requirements.
Can You Notarize Without a Signature Stamp?
A notary public stamp must be used to finalize and authenticate the document in order for it to be legally notarized. Stamps cannot be forged either, as they are cuzomized like checks, unique to each certified notary with the notary’s name, date, location of commission, as well as their commission number and its expiration date.
